Rat Behavior

Gen 1:28 “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it…” NKJV

One of the reasons given in support of eugenics is that over-populations breeds suffering and poverty. They use carrying capacity models to scientifically support this supposition. Carrying capacity, used in its strictest sense means “the sustainable level of population that can be supported.” Carrying capacity models are useless because they cannot account for innovation. When oil first entered general use around 1900 global population was about 1.6 billion. Since then the population has quadrupled. As underdeveloped nations increasingly adapt modern innovations their carrying capacity estimates will vary widely from those projected today. Estimates of the earth’s carrying capacity have ranged from 2 billion to 40 billion. Without faith our decisions are made out of fear. I am not a proponent of oil, but I do have faith in man’s capacity to innovate. Many of the products of the oil industry can be replaced with renewable resources. We need to embrace innovation rather than practice eugenics which is the final solution of the faithless. Eugenicist lack faith in both God and humanity. Infanticide is practiced by rats.

Gen 4:10 “And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.” NKJV
