Major Benefits:
1. Men would have near full employment.
2. The work pool will become more scarce and valuable, so wages will rise.
3. Women will be able to manage their households and control their budgets. Less fast food, less high fashion clothing, less excess, less less, less...
4. A more valuable worker will not be as easy to pressure to work 60 or more hours a week. Families will have more time together. The children will get more care and attention.
5. A smaller work force will give women that are still in the workforce a stronger opportunity to negotiate equal pay for the equal work.
6. College graduates will have jobs. College graduates will not have to work at fast food joints.
7. Internships would increase allowing college graduates to enter the work place with more experience.
If men don’t work, they are pretty useless. People, you can live on one income. In this economy the two job household is just greedy and selfish. Down with DINKS (dual income, no kids). Pat Buchanan's was right on this point when he wrote the book "The Death of the West."

The Republican Party was born in the early 1850's by anti-slavery activists and individuals who believed that government should grant western lands to settlers free of charge. The first informal meeting of the party took place in Ripon, Wisconsin, a small town northwest of Milwaukee. The first official Republican meeting took place on July 6th, 1854 in Jackson, Michigan. The name "Republican" was chosen because it alluded to equality and reminded individuals of Thomas Jefferson's Democratic-Republican Party. At the Jackson convention, the new party adopted a platform and nominated candidates for office in Michigan.
The Civil War erupted in 1861 and lasted four grueling years. During the war, against the advice of his cabinet, Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation that freed the slaves. The Republicans of the day worked to pass the Thirteenth Amendment, which outlawed slavery, the Fourteenth, which guaranteed equal protection under the laws, and the Fifteenth, which helped secure voting rights for African-Americans.
How did the Party go from Lincoln to Limbaugh? From light to darkness? From leadership to talk?
It’s time that the Republicans do the work laid out by their first great leader.

The Beer Summit

President Barack Obama hoisted a beer with a white policeman and Harvard University professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr yesterday evening to attempt to calm a dispute between them that had ignited a national debate. Nothing was resolved, but the President got a decent photo op. So I guess the message is that we will never fully bridge the racial divide in this country, so DRINK UP!

Fox Nation is suggesting that Obama's health care bill is a back door bill for slavery reparations.
I did not want to weigh in on reparations, but Fox news rhetoric has brought me into the fray. Yes, this nation needs reparations. The damage done to Black America is documented, real and lasting. The myriad of attacks on the Black community are part of our national history. The lasting effects are evident from real estate to education. White flight and blockbusting has permanently caused a gap between black and white generational wealth. The house that I grew up in was built in the 1920’s for $6000.00 and was sold to my parents in 1959 for $12,000.00. We were the second black family to move into the neighborhood. The last black family to move into the neighborhood during the 1970’s paid $45,000.00 for a similar house. The housing in that zip code now average $55,000.00. The white families that left this neighborhood with their new found equity bought suburban homes for $55,000.00 to $65,000.00. These homes are now worth $185,000.00 to $250,000.00. The gap from $45,000.00 to $185,000.00 is enormous. Our separate and unequal school systems are another legacy of our nation’s Economic Cold War Against Black America. Share cropping, eugenics, Tuskegee experiments, police shootings, red lining, disparaging cost in healthcare and insurance…the list goes on and on.
The real reason that we do not want to seriously talk about reparations is the cost. The coffers are not full enough to come close to a reasonable gesture to the evils of Jim Crow and lynchings.
Well Republicans, it is time for you to stand up for the founders of your party and support reparations. We cannot expect the Democratic plantation to lead the charge. You know the Democrats, Party of Jim Crow and the KKK.
They are busy trying to find new ways to exploit our political capitol. Republicans are into tax cuts. It is the belief of many Republicans that tax cuts stimulate the economy. I propose that the Republicans regain the dignity of their party, oust the Rush Limbaughs and lead the charge for reparations. Exempt Black Americans from income taxes for five years. Abolish all of the plantation hand out programs and allow this nation to heal. Let's call it the New Reconstruction Tax Relief Program. (or as my daughter calls it "NO TAX FOR BLACKS")

The New Reconstruction Tax Relief Program will stimulate the economy, put money where it is really needed. It will reward the hard working and create jobs for the disenfranchised. It will end the need for set asides and hand outs. It will destroy the conservative talking points on race, create self reliance, and then we can begin to heal as a nation.
It is time for both parties to stop interfering with the destiny of Black America.

Peace
As you can see, I have strong views and now that you know what I think about eugenics. I will refrain from this subject unless it comes up in the news. I just don't think that African Americans should be complicit in this practice to placate the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. We need to make it clear what we are about and what we demand from our political leaders. We can do better than preachers that support the destruction of our future generations.

One of the reasons given in support of eugenics is that over-populations breeds suffering and poverty. They use carrying capacity models to scientifically support this supposition. Carrying capacity, used in its strictest sense means “the sustainable level of population that can be supported.” Carrying capacity models are useless because they cannot account for innovation. When oil first entered general use around 1900 global population was about 1.6 billion. Since then the population has quadrupled. As underdeveloped nations increasingly adapt modern innovations their carrying capacity estimates will vary widely from those projected today. Estimates of the earth’s carrying capacity have ranged from 2 billion to 40 billion. Without faith our decisions are made out of fear. I am not a proponent of oil, but I do have faith in man’s capacity to innovate. Many of the products of the oil industry can be replaced with renewable resources. We need to embrace innovation rather than practice eugenics which is the final solution of the faithless. Eugenicist lack faith in both God and humanity. Infanticide is practiced by rats.

Eugenic Procedures

The most common reasons women consider eugenic procedures are birth control; inability to support or care for a child; unwanted pregnancy (93% of all eugenic procedures occur because the child is unwanted or inconvenient); birth defects (6% of eugenic procedures occur because of potential health problems); rape or incest (1% of all eugenic procedures occur because of rape or incest). Worldwide there are approximately 42 million acts of eugenics performed. 83% of all these eugenic procedures are obtained in developing countries and 17% occur in developed countries. In the United States approximately 1.37 million (1996) eugenic procedures are performed yearly.
Race - White women obtain 60% of all eugenic procedures, their eugenic procedure rate is well below that of minority women. Black women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have a eugenic procedure, and Hispanic women are roughly 2 times as likely. Women with family incomes less than $15,000 obtain 28.7% of all eugenic procedures; Women with family incomes between $15,000 and $29,999 obtain 19.5%; Women with family incomes between $30,000 and $59,999 obtain 38.0%; Women with family incomes over $60,000 obtain 13.8%.
Based on how well social and economic factors relate to eugenic procedure statistics whether by design or by chance, Margret Sanger’s dreams are being realized.

Eugenics (eu•gen•ics) - selective breeding as proposed human improvement by encouraging or permitting reproduction of only those people with genetic characteristics judged desirable.
In 1939, Margaret Sanger collaborated to write a report called "Birth Control and the Negro," which made the claim that… "negroes present the great problem of the South." This report devised a birth control program which targeted the illiterate. The report asserted that these members of the population "still breed carelessly and disastrously." Sanger enlisted Clarence Gamble of Proctor and Gamble to provide funding to train "an up and doing modern minister, colored, and an up and doing modern colored medical man" to tour the South preaching the need for birth control. Where do we go from here?

Hiram Revels of Mississippi February 25, 1870 First African American Senator. Black America has come a long way from Hiram Revels to Barack H. Obama, the 44th President of the United States.
The Reconstruction Era - This is the period in United States history after the Civil War between 1865 and 1877. During the Reconstruction the Democratic Party began its dominion over southern politics. The Democratic Party’s answer to the new integrated south was the enactment of Jim Crow laws and the birth of the Ku Klux Klan. Why do black people flock to the Democratic Party? Are our memories so short? We need to review our history and take a more pragmatic and comprehensive approach to our political and economic future.
